Recruitment

Finding the right personnel for key positions within your organization is vital for the organization to function at its peak. To assist you in getting the right people we will:

  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying your organization’s plans and objectives.
  • Meet with managers to discuss needs.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Help determine the right strategy for finding suitable applicants – recruiters,
  • advertisements, social networks.

  • Determine applicant qualifications.
  • Shortlist applicants and arrange final interviews with the relevant parties and your organization.

Job Descriptions

Once the appropriate candidate has been found for your organisation, we will help draft a job description that will form the basis for them to perform the required tasks related to the job title.  This will include:

  • Compiling tasks and duties related to the role
  • Describing the job and specifying the requirements to fulfil the job
  • Determining the KPI’s (key performance indicators) using a specific format

Contracts

Protecting yourself and your employees with a contract is essential to minimize labour related problems.

We will help you to develop the right kind of contract for independent consultants, fixed-term and permanent employees.

Cost: R 400 – R 600 per contract depending on complexity & time spent

Any reviewing and re-issuing of contracts will be charged at R400 per hour.

Performance Management

To ensure that staff are performing and developing, performance management is required on an annual or bi-annual basis.  This can include any or all of the following services: Drawing up Goals / Objectives with measurements and timeframes

  • Aligning the Goals / Objectives to those of the organisation
  • Linking these goals back to KPI’s
  • Formal appraisal form for each staff member
  • Structuring the bi-annual formal review
  • Annual formal review linking to the reward system (bonus, travel etc.)
  • Coaching Line Managers on how to conduct feedback sessions

Policies and Procedures

Management and staff are always well served by a shared understanding of the NGO’s boundaries and requirements.  These are reflected in clear and concise company policy and procedures.   We can assist your organisation with policies related to:

  • Leave & Absence
  • Code of Conduct
  • Travel / Petrol /Per diems
  • Disciplinary & Grievance
  • Human Rights
  • HIV/AIDS

Relevant policies can either be delivered individually or compiled as part of an HR policy manual.
