Badilisha Poetry’s Poetry Pop-Up Shop was featured during the Infecting the City 2014 programme (10 – 15 March). The Pop-Up Shop gave Badilisha an opportunity to disrupt the dynamics and rules of exchange between audiences and poets, and between those with voices and those without. Badilisha used our “poetic commodities” and live performances to create a new poetic conversation.
The Pop-Up Shop featured multilingual and multi-talented Cape Town-based poets Koleka Putuma, Lwanda Sindaphi and Pieter Odendaal.
